There’s so many bars or pubs to go to in London that sometimes you can get overwhelmed with all the options! Once you get over the phase of being a student when any random place that offers a pint satisfies you, you might want to go somewhere that you and your mates can really enjoy. So check out my list of the best bars that you can visit in London!
The Knight’s Templar
The Knight’s Templar is a Wetherspoon’s, so you know that it’s not going to break your bank or bite off a huge chunk of your student loan. The ambience is amazing but the bathroom is the place where the party really starts. With seats, a fountain and amazing lighting, breaking the seal has never been more enjoyable!
The London Cocktail Club
If you enjoy gritty bars with a rock vibe, the London Cocktail Club is for you. Happy hour is from 5-7 , or all day Monday, where you can buy 2 for 1 cocktails and the menu is very varied. From Harry Potter style Butterbeers to your classic Pornstar Martini. There are eight locations all over London such as Goose Street, Shoreditch and Oxford Circus. Just beware of low-hanging, swinging lamps and crazy bar staff!
Madison’s is a bar with one of the most magnificent views in London. A stone’s throw away from St Paul’s Cathedral, you can walk out onto a platform at the bar and come eye-to-eye with the done of the Church. You can enjoy great music, good vibes and reasonably priced drinks (for the location) that hopefully won’t leave you eating almonds for lunch out of poverty for the next few days.
Located in Borough, Dover Castle is a great pub for a wild night out. Good prices, dancing and the odd football game on telly makes it a staple for most students. Although you may not have the best time if you decide to go there sober…
